Our benchmark
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, the standard behind the European accessibility law (EN 301 549). We test with the keyboard, at 360 pixels wide and at 200% zoom.
What we do
Every page has a clear structure with headings, a link to jump straight to the content, a visible focus, labelled fields with error messages next to the field itself, enough colour contrast in both the light and dark themes, and respect for your device’s ‘reduce motion’ setting. Whether a number is valid is always stated in words, not just in colour, and is read aloud.
Reading aids
With the button showing a little figure at the top of every page, you choose larger text, more space between lines and letters, a readable font, more contrast, underlined links, less motion or a reading guide. Your choice is saved on your device.
What isn’t perfect yet
A payment QR code is an image: what it contains is written underneath as text. The date fields use your browser’s date picker; on some older devices you then type the date as yyyy-mm-dd.
